Mona Al Jadir is an Iraqi-Canadian architectural designer and researcher who grew up in Abu Dhabi. She graduated from the Peter Guo-hua Fu School of Architecture at McGill University, Montréal, and studied Curating at Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London. She is an alumna of the 2022 Venice Internship at the National Pavilion UAE - La Biennale di Venezia and the recipient of the 2021 Curatorial Development Exhibition Program at Warehouse 421, Abu Dhabi. She is curating her first exhibition, which will open in January 2023.

he first issue of “Al Tashkeel” Magazine was published back in 1984, four years after the formation of the Emirates Fine Arts Society. The fine arts movement was witnessing growth and gaining traction on all other artistic levels.
