Summer Workshops Festival

Emirates Fine Arts Society held the “Summer Workshops Festival”, & presented a specialized art workshops for a group of specialists in the field of visual arts, who shared their pioneering knowledge and artistic expertise. EFAS organized a variety of workshops over a period of two months (July and June 2022). With the aim of refining the skills of artists and exchanging experiences between different generations and schools of Arts,  In a speech delivered by President of Emirates Fine Art Society Artist Salem Al Juneibi  On the occasion of launching the “Summer Workshops Festival”: “since its establishment, Emirates Fine Art Society, has supported and sponsored Art & Artists in addition to a various types of activities,  public and private exhibitions, seminars and art workshops, to discover the  Aesthetic and Artistic values, and encouraging creativity in various techniques and styles.

Executive Director

Salem Al Juneibi is an Emirati Visual Artist, Writer, Curator, and the Executive Director of AlTashkeel magazine, based in Sharjah. He served as the President of the Emirates Fine Art Society for five years, from May 2018 to May 2023. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in overseeing various exhibitions, art events, and art publications. Additionally, he has served on numerous jury committees.

he first issue of “Al Tashkeel” Magazine was published back in 1984, four years after the formation of the Emirates Fine Arts Society. The fine arts movement was witnessing growth and gaining traction on all other artistic levels.
